Jason Blum Wants 10 More HALLOWEEN Movies–But Still Doesn’t Have Rights to Make Another
When 2018’s Halloween became the highest grossing slasher movie of all time and pleased the majority of franchise fans, a sequel seemed inevitable. We know that Blumhouse mastermind Jason Blum has been making maneuvers in an effort to see it happen, and even got word that a writer has been retained for Halloween 2. There’s only one problem:
“We don’t have deal rights to the sequels.”

Still, Blum is optimistic, telling Moviefone he hopes to make ten more Halloween movies!
“Well, we had talked about it but right now we’re not shooting any Halloween movies right now. But I certainly hope to make 10 more but I’ll start with one more.”

We certainly admire Blum’s enthusiasm, though his inability to nail down the production rights is getting slightly worrisome. What’s next for The Shape? Only time will tell.

Synopsis:
